PRAY!

Are you afraid to pray?
It all starts when you feel that you have crossed the line, when you are convinced that you have stepped on His toes way to much and He has turned his back on you. When you have offended Him way to much for retribution. That is when the fear of praying to God arises.  I am definitely not exaggerating when I say that majority of the people reading this writeup has felt scared to pray to God one way or the other. You might have all your anxiety, all your burdens on your back but you don't know how to start the conversation. It maybe because they don't know the words to say or because they have offended God or even because they have completely given up on Him.  Some people might say that you are a sinner if you tell them that you are scared to pray. Some might think that you have committed the greatest offense of them all and God can never forgive you. They will begin to judge all your actions henceforth.  It is not wrong to be scared to pray to God and you are definitely not a sinner if you feel that you have offended God. As a matter of fact, it shows that you have respect for God. It depicts that you reverence God with all your heart. In other words, it means that you are pious.  Matthew 7:9-10 says
"You parents- if your children ask for a loaf of bread,do you give them stone instead or if they ask for fish, would you give them snake? Of course not". God is our heavenly father and he absolutely cannot turn his back on you. My perspective on the scripture above is that God is asking our earthly parents that if we(Children/teenagers) offend them and we ask for food, will they give us otherwise? The scripture says of course not! Because if God can keep his arms open to us who have sinned and come short of his glory then there is no sin that cannot be forgiven by Him.  With this dear friends, I urge you to go back to God, he has already forgiven you. In fact,he forgave you immediately you felt sorry for what you did and purposely had the intention of coming back to him but was scared to. God is waiting for you.
